We’re campers ourselves, so we know the struggles of having to bring everything with you. So we’ve taken some of that headache away and provided a fridge / freezer, a Coway water filter including cold and hot water and a 2-hob cooking stove with as much gas as you’ll need. Hopefully this will free up some space in the car so you can bring more important things … like friends and family.
We’re a small working family farm. We believe in good, fresh, clean food. There’s nothing more fresh than picking your own food to eat. When you’re preparing your camp food, you’re welcome to use our herb garden. It’s seasonal so please be understanding if something isn’t growing during your visit. Be honest and responsible with what you pick and use. Only pick what you need and leave the herb garden to thrive for the next camper. Involve your kids … they’ll love the experience.
Our river is extremely clean as it flows directly from the nearby state forest with no one / nothing upstream of us. We encourage you to keep it clean for everyone downstream of us as well.
We’ve got fireflies!! They come and go depending on the environment. So please keep it clean and don’t spray anything. Definitely no fogging. They’re a little piece of magic so please enjoy responsibly. Just turn off all the lights at night to enjoy, as you can only see them when all lights are turned off.
There’s a large open fire pit for you to use. Whilst we collect firewood from our farm and as nearby the farm as possible it does take time and effort … and sometimes we have to bring it in from further away. To help offset some of this cost we charge a small fee of RM20 per wheelbarrow of wood. Just let us know how much you need and we’ll move it for you. Please don’t help yourself to our wood stocks, but you’re more than welcome to collect fallen branches and kindling for yourself.
Free use of our large bespoke BBQ grill so you can cook directly over the camp fire. No pork please.
Private bathroom facilities featuring (per campsite): 2 x hot water showers, 4 x sit down toilets, sinks and mirrors
The covered kitchen area features:
- Cold & hot Coway water filter
- Fridge with freezer
- Sink and large bench spaces with storage shelving for all of your gear.
- Fans
- Power plug points
- Gas cooker (2 burner) and gas bottes
- Dining table & 10 chairs
A large open flat grass area separates the two camp kitchens and bathroom blocks. This is a fantastic common area for games, sports and star-gazing. Please keep it open and available for everyone to use. Strictly no camping up here … besides the embers from the campfire might burn holes in your tent.
The camp has subtle festoon lighting distributed across the area to provide enough light for moving safely around the campsite. It’s on a (max) 1hr timer switch so you can turn it on and off as needed.
Power plug points are located in a central area amongst each campsite. Please bring your own extension cables if you want to run power to your tent. Power won’t be more than 20m away from your tent.
Pet friendly: We have a very friendly farm dog called Waffles (and a couple of cats) that live and work on the farm with us. We are a pet friendly camp. We ask you to indicate in the booking if pets will be coming with your group, so if someone else is considering booking the other campsite they know who they’ll be sharing the space with.
